1. Multiply the first number of the age by 5.
2. Add 3 to the result of that calculation.
3. Double the answer from Step 2.
4. Add the second digit of the number with the result.
5. Subtract 6 from that calculation.
For example, I am 16 years old.
1. 1 x 5 = 5
2. 5 + 3 = 8
3. 8 x 2 = 16
4. 16 + 6 = 22
5. 22 - 6 = 16
And there you go, 16 years old.
This is just another way of demonstrating one of math's many unique properties. :)
